Every place you’ve been, lit up by itself.
Ricordo reads where your photos were taken and lights up every country and city on a globe, with an arc for every trip from home. Nothing to scratch, pin or tag. Press play and watch your world fill in, year by year.
Your photos already know where you’ve been.
It fills itself in
Every photo with a location finds its country and city on its own. Your first look already shows years of travel.
As far back as your photos
Older photos count too, including the ones you bring from Google Photos. Photos without a location can be placed in a tap.
Worked out on your iPhone
Places are found on the phone from 160,000 cities kept on it. Your photos aren’t uploaded anywhere.
Spin your world. Tap a country.
Your countries glow, your cities light up, and an arc runs from home to every trip: flights high, road trips low. Tap a country to see when you first went, and open it.

Watch your world fill in.
Scrub back to any year, or press play and see every country arrive in the order you first went.

Your best shot, on every place.
Zoom in from the globe and every place shows its best photo, with how many you took there. Pick a year to see that year’s trips drawn across the map, and tap any place to see every photo from it.

Each country, city by city.
Open a country for its cities, its trips and every photo from it, with when you first went.

Count the places your photos missed.
Add the countries you went to before this phone, with the year if you like, and keep a list of where you want to go next. They count on your Atlas and glow softer on the globe. Badges still come only from photos.

The first thing you see.
Your world opens Ricordo: the globe with your countries lit, ready to explore. Put it on your Home Screen or Lock Screen with the Your world widget.

Good to know
Do I have to pin or scratch anything?
No. Everything comes from where your photos were taken. You can add countries you went to without photos, and a list of places you want to go.
What about photos without a location?
Ricordo groups them into moments and suggests where they were, from your boarding passes and nearby photos. One tap places a whole moment.
Can I share my map?
Yes. Share your passport card with the globe and your flags, or turn on a public page with your countries lit on a world map.
Is it private?
Your places are worked out on your iPhone. With Apple Maps place names on, Apple Maps gets the middle of each place, rounded to about 1 km, once per place, and you can turn that off.
Does it cost anything?
No. The globe, the map and the time machine are part of free Ricordo.
